A Cadiz resident who has helped organize two local events to make a better day for senior citizens is planning another event this weekend.
Barbara Jones says a parade will take place Saturday at Better Senior Living, formerly Trigg Manor. She says the parade will begin in the Trigg County Primary Care back parking lot and follow a path along Cardinal Drive beginning at noon.
She says anyone who wants to join in, is welcome to do so.
Meet up for the parade will be at 11:45. Jones says anyone that lives along Cardinal Drive and Cunningham Avenue can step outside and enjoy the parade as it goes by.
Jones adds they wanted to make the day of residents of Better Senior Living and C.J. Hansley, who was surprised earlier this month by area first responders with a special parade.
