PACS Providing Transit To Voting Precinct On Election Day

vote-6

The Pennyrile Allied Community Services (PACS) will be providing transit to The Bruce Convention Center for registered voters in the city of Hopkinsville who want to cast their ballots in person during the primary election Tuesday.
PACS will offer free transportation to The Bruce — the lone voting precinct in Christian County — from 8 am-5 pm.

Officials say registered voters can get on at any current bus stop on any of the city routes and ride to the station where another bus will be available to transport to the convention center and back to the station.

For everyone’s safety, PACS is still limiting the number of riders per the governor’s recommendations. Officials with PACS say they will not be able to deviate the routes for these rides but will have another bus to assist for any overflow at the bus stops if needed.

In addition, they say face masks will be required by all riders for everyone’s protection. They add the Christian County Health Department has provided 120 disposable masks for transit riders on election day for those who may not have one.
