Caldwell Reports 13th COVID-19 Case After 8 Week Drought

After eight weeks without one Caldwell County has another positive COVID-19 case.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling announced Friday evening the new case is a 30-year-old female who is isolated at home. He added this is the 13th case since the outbreak began in mid-March and the first since April.

Judge Curling notes only two of Caldwell’s cases were hospitalized with the remaining ten cases recovering at home.

He is encouraging everyone to continue to adhere to social distancing mandates by keeping six feet distance between themselves and others and wearing facial masks.
