Five people accused of being involved with the theft of $50,000 worth of equipment from General Steel in March were among indictments returned by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday.

The five are charged in connection to the alleged theft of two trucks, a closed-trailer, an ATV, and equipment belonging to General Steel on March 7th. Police said they also found a shotgun in his room.

The grand jury also indicted Darius Johnson of Oak Grove and Justice Wofford of Clarksville for second-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree wanton endangerment, drug trafficking, and possession of cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy pills.

Police said on March 23 and March 24 Johnson and Wofford held a knife to a woman’s stomach and made her go into the bedroom where she was forced to stay for two hours and then they transferred money into one of their accounts. During the investigation, police reportedly found 178 grams of a white powdery substance along with cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy pills inside the bedroom. According to police, five children under the age of seven were in the residence and able to tell police there was cocaine in the bedroom.
