State Police ID Body Found in Fredonia While Searching For Husband

State police have identified the body of a deceased woman found in Caldwell County near Fredonia over the weekend and are asking the public’s assistance in locating her husband, who is wanted in connection to the investigation.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 Public Information Officer Rob Austin says the woman, who was found in Hill Cemetery Saturday, has been identified as 36-year-old Nicole Renee Florentine, of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He adds KSP is currently searching for her husband, 52-year-old Lawrence “Larry” Florentine, also of South Carolina.

Trooper Austin states Florentine was last seen driving a 2020 Caspian Blue Nissan Rogue and is a white male, 5 foot 7 inches tall, approximately 170 pounds, with gray or partially gray hair and brown eyes. Florentine has been issued an arrest warrant for abuse of a corpse.

KSP is advising anyone who has seen or sees Florentine contact local law enforcement immediately. Florentine should be considered armed and dangerous.
