After some much-needed rain ends Tuesday, we may see some slightly cooler weather this week.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says a strong cold front will make its way through the region Tuesday.
Powell says as he keeps looking at the long-range forecast, temperatures may be a little cooler through the summer.
He believes the hurricane season will begin to pick up around July 10.
He adds the Saharan dust plume will have little effect on the area.
