The annual Trigg County Fields of Flags is up and ready for you to purchase a flag to honor and remember a loved one that made the ultimate sacrifice.
Curt Holmes from American Legion Post 74 in Cadiz tells the News Edge they have been busy setting up the flags.
Holmes says typically they have around 125 flags each year but expect fewer this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He adds they will host a closing ceremony on the second Saturday in July.
Flags are $25 each and will be given to whoever purchases them in mid-July. Flags can be purchased at the field across from Hancock’s Neighborhood Market, as an American Legion member will be there most days.
