Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman that was injured in a wreck on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a southbound car driven by 19-year-old Lori Thurston of Cadiz was on South Main Street attempting to turn onto East 12th Street.
Thurston’s car struck the side of a second southbound car driven by 29-year-old Dezarae Wilson who was also on South Main Street.
The crash caused Wilson’s car to overturn and hit a flower pot on the side of the road.
Wilson was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The wreck happened just before 1 pm.
