A wreck on Interstate 24 sent three people to the hospital and killed a horse Sunday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say Ashira Gardner of Bowling Green was westbound a mile from the Pembroke Oak Grove Road exit when her car hit a horse.
The crash caused the horse to roll over the top of her car and hit a second westbound car driven by Nicole Wellsted of Cadiz.
Both drivers and a passenger in Wellsted’s car were taken by ambulance to the hospital for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just before 1 am.
