The number of active coronavirus cases in Christian County rose to over 100 Friday with the health department reporting 16 new positive cases since Thursday.
According to a Friday afternoon update, the total active coronavirus cases in the county climbed to 106 and includes 67 cases between the ages of 22 and 59, 20 under 21 years of age, 17 between 60 and 84 years old, and two over the age of 85.
The health department reports the total number of COVID-19 cases is 313, with 203 recoveries and four deaths since the outbreak began.
