Families with students attending Trigg County Public Schools during the 2020-2021 school year will have two options on how their children attend classes.
The school announced Friday they will offer traditional classes and a virtual learning academy when classes resume Wednesday, August 26. Officials say the options will allow parents the decision on if they want to send their children to school or allow them to work from home.
The district adds those who want their children to participate in virtual learning are asked to make a commitment via the Parent Portal by Friday, July 24. If children are enrolled in virtual learning they will not be able to enroll in the traditional setting until the end of the fall semester.
If you do not have access to the Parent Portal, call the school district next week at (270) 522-6075 for additional information.
The district has released all of the expectations and guidelines for returning to school in either form, those can be found below.
