The Pennyrile District Health Department and the Purchase District Health Department are coming together to host a Healthy Living With Diabetes class.
Deanna Leonard, who works for the Purchase District Health Department, tells the News Edge the class will begin on Tuesday, August 4. The class will take place from 10:00 until 11:00 AM every Tuesday and Thursday through September 1.
Leonard adds the class will take place online.
Participants in the class will learn about a variety of subjects concerning diabetes.
Kelly Dawes, with the Pennyrile District Health Department, says they will be available to help anyone who is interested in participating in the class. She adds everyone interested is encouraged to register for the class.
