Hopkinsville Police have released the name of a man who allegedly fled from them early Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a car driven by 24-year-old D’Angelo Morehead for speeding on Cadiz Road and he fled at speeds of 100 mph before turning onto Glass Avenue then Evergreen Park Drive. The pursuit ended when Morehead turned into a driveway on Holly Court.
Morehead was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, and driving on a suspended license.
The pursuit started just before 5 am.
