After a short five day break in cases, Caldwell County is reporting another coronavirus case.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Tuesday afternoon the county’s 49th case. He added the case involves a 36-year-old male who is isolated at home.
As of Friday afternoon, the Pennyrile District Health Department reported Caldwell County had 17 active cases, all isolated at home, with the county’s remaining 31 cases having recovered from the virus. Tuesday’s new case now brings the active case total to 18.
