A home on Hayes Street in Hopkinsville was damaged in a shooting Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were in the area on a traffic stop and heard shots fired then were called to Hayes Street for a home that had been hit. A single round reportedly entered the home and traveled through a clock narrowly missing a woman sitting in a chair.
Police say 15 various size shell casings were located in the area along with one live round found under the hood of a car parked in the area. The shooting happened just before 9 pm.
