Another Trigg County child has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Pennyrile District Health Department reported Thursday the 44th case is a 20-month old male, who is isolated at home. This is the second child under the age of two to test positive for the virus this week.
The department also reported two new cases in Lyon County. The 80-year old female and 80-year old male are both isolated at home.
The department does not provide information as to if any of these cases are related to previously reported cases.
