A Todd County woman died after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say 42-year-old Billy Jo Faughn, of Hopkinsville, was southbound on Blue And Gray Park Road in Todd County when his SUV ran off the road traveling several hundred feet before hitting 71-year-old Sarah Barrow. Barrow was standing next to her garage and Faughn’s SUV came to a stop after hitting the garage. Barrow was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where she later died from her injuries.
Faughn was arrested and charged with murder, DUI, and possession of marijuana.
The crash happened just after 3 pm.
