The Christian County Health Department reported 19 new COVID-19 cases Friday.
Amanda Sweeney from the department says the total number of cases now sits at 558. She adds there are 181 active cases, which is up 12 from Thursday. Ninety-six of those cases are among those between the age of 22 and 59. There are also 8 elderly patients who are among the active number.
Christian County has reported 371 recoveries and 6 COVID-19 related deaths.
Sweeney adds they are going to start a mask up campaign Monday. More information will be posted on their Facebook page.
