The Christian County Health Department reported 17 new cases Monday, but only saw an increase of 7 active cases.
Spokesperson Amanda Sweeney says there are now 592 total cases. She adds there are 184 active cases, up 7 from Saturday afternoon. Of the active cases, 38 are reported in those between the ages of birth and 21, 97 in the 22 to 59 age range, and 42 among adults between the age of 60 and 84. Seven people over the age of 85 are considered an active COVID-19 case in Christian County.
The health department reports 402 recoveries and 6 deaths.
