Ft. Campbell is reporting a decline in active COVID-19 cases.
During a virtual town hall Monday evening, 101st Airborne Division Major General Brian Winski says the installation saw the highest case count in mid-July.
Winski confirmed that one solider is hospitalized at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, as well as one family member of a retiree. He adds the active cases remain less than half of a percent of the nearly 26,000 soldiers that live on the installation.
Winski reminds everyone that the decisions made during the COVID-19 pandemic have been well thought out.
Following the COVID-19 information, Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston joined the town hall to answer questions concerning the virus and other things occurring in the Army.
