A blood drive for the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center that was canceled last week due to mechanical issues has a reschedule date.
Sue Ann Loney, Manager of Cash Express in Princeton, says they will be hosting the rescheduled blood drive at their location on Highway 62 West later this month.
She adds they will still have several freebees including a great prize pack from WPKY.
Loney states there are a few guidelines potential donors are being asked to follow before they donate blood.
She notes WKRBC staff will also be screening all donors who consent for coronavirus antibodies to find potential convalescent plasma donors to treat patients with COVID-19. All staff will also follow very strict guidelines to insure the safety of both themselves and the public.
WKRBC provides blood to six western Kentucky hospitals including Caldwell Medical Center, Crittenden Health System, and Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and three Air-Evac units within the area.
