Police have charged a juvenile in connection to a fatal shooting on East 1st Street at the intersection of Rozelle Court in Hopkinsville Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they arrested a juvenile Sunday on a warrant for possession of a handgun by a minor in connection to the shooting that led to the death of 39-year-old Tiffany Hinton Gray, of Hopkinsville, and led to severe injuries to 17-year-old Kanina Willingham.
Police say they were called for a report of shots fired just before 2 am and found Gray who had been shot and was unresponsive in the roadway. Willingham was taken to the hospital by private vehicle before police arrived.
Gray was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where police say she later died. Willingham was flown to a Nashville hospital, where the extent of her injuries remain unknown.
