Officials with the Christian County Health Department reported 23 new COVID-19 cases Monday.
The department reports the active case number went down 22 from Sunday and now stands at 235. The county’s case total now sits at 769, which is an increase of 23 from Sunday.
Cases in the 21 and under category decreased by five to 50, with 178 cases reported among adults between the age of 22 and 84. Seven cases were reported among elderly adults.
The Christian County Health Department adds 523 people have recovered from the virus and 11 deaths have been reported since mid-March.
