A Hopkinsville woman was charged Saturday after she reportedly fled from police and resisted arrest.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old Susan Wilson was seen taking and returning items to the Salvation Army drop box on South Clay Street. She reportedly told police she was pregnant and had to use the restroom. She was found to have active warrants while using the bathroom and she allegedly took off all of her clothing and came outside refusing to comply with the officer’s commands.
Wilson ran into someone else’s apartment and reportedly became combative with police and started telling police she was going to claim she was raped. Police say she turned over the kitchen table and refrigerator and tried to get out a window before being arrested.
During the arrest, she reportedly tried to hit and bite an officer before scratching one of them on the arm.
Wilson was found to have a warrant for theft by unlawful taking after she reportedly stole a car from a Caldwell County woman on August 11th. She is charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, and resisting arrest.
