Princeton Water and Wastewater customers asked to boil their water Monday no longer have to do so.
Superintendent James Noel states the boil water advisory issued Monday morning has been lifted as of Tuesday afternoon at 1:30. He adds the advisory was originally issued following a water main break on the north side of town during the overnight hours Monday morning and effected around 900 customers.
Noel notes customers included a section of Marion Road, as well as Beckner Lane, Jackson, Jeff Watson, and Old Fredonia roads, Micbeth Drive, parts of North Jefferson Street, Skyline Drive, Highway 293 North, Dawson Road, the Dixie Heights Subdivision, Beshear Lane, Cooper Circle, and parts of Sandlick and Hopkinsville roads.
