A Cadiz man was flown to a Nashville hospital after a wreck on Blue Spring Road in Trigg County Tuesday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck hauling a trailer driven by Michael Smith was northbound when his trailer tire ran off the road pulling the truck down an embankment causing it to overturn several times.
Smith was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter that transferred him to Skyline Medical Center Nashville. The extent of his injuries remains unknown.
The wreck happened at the intersection of Barkersfield Drive just before 3 pm.
