Beginning Wednesday, crews with the Hopkinsville Public Works Department will start milling and paving several city streets.
According to Public Works Street Superintendent Dave Herndon, the streets affected are as follows:
– Krusteaz Way from Pembroke Road to Frank Yost Lane
– Westwood Drive from West 7th Street to Glass Avenue
– Morris Circle
– VFW Lane from Skyline Drive to Marie Drive
– North Cherokee Trace Boulevard from Iroquois Drive to the end of city maintenance
– Springmont Drive from Ridgemont Drive to Terminus
– Redwood Court from Morris Circle to Terminus
– Circle Drive from Country Club Lane to Hunting Creek Road
– Younglove Street from South Vine Street to Mechanic Street
– Bethel Street from West 14th Street to West 15th Street.
Herndon says paving operations will run weather permitting and until complete.
In addition, if you are a resident or business owner and use on-street parking, officials ask for you to please move your car to accommodate equipment.
