The boil water advisory that was issued for Barkley Lake Water customers in the western portion of Trigg County has been lifted.
Superintendent John Herring notified the News Edge Tuesday afternoon that the state has lifted the advisory after tests came back on the water.
He adds the water main break was discovered around 5:00 Monday morning, with water service restored to customers around 10:00 AM Monday. The advisory affected customers west of the intersection of Canton Blue Springs Road and Blue Springs Road.
