Crofton Man Charged With Possession Of Meth After Traffic Stop

A traffic stop in Crofton for no visible registration plate led to drug charges Saturday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 51-year-old Darren Ezell of Crofton on North Madisonville Street for not having a visible registration plate.
During the stop deputies reportedly found a hypodermic needle, a glass pipe, and a bag of meth in his vehicle.
He was allegedly driving on an expired license and had no insurance or proper registration for the vehicle. Ezell is charged with possession of meth and cited for driving without an operator’s license, no registration plate, and driving with no insurance.
