In accordance with a proclamation from the White House, Governor Andy Beshear on Saturday directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment, which has not been determined at this time.
Governor Beshear is encouraging individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the state to join in this tribute.
Justice Ginsburg died Friday due to complications from cancer. She was 87-years old.
