A Cadiz man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in Trigg County Saturday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say Cadiz Police attempted to stop 38-year-old Jared Kennedy for speeding on Main Street and he failed to stop traveling down several streets and running off the road and into yards on Lakota Drive.
The pursuit reportedly ended at Kennedy’s home on Riverview Trail and he was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, reckless driving, speeding, and criminal mischief.
Kennedy was taken to Trigg County Hospital to be treated for minor injuries before being transported to jail.
