The Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County will host their annual Great Futures Luncheon this week, but it will be virtual.
Executive Director Terrance Davis tells the News Edge they have been working hard through the pandemic by changing their main focus.
Davis adds they want to thank the community Thursday, even though they can not do it in the traditional manner.
In the first two weeks of October, there are four restaurants that will donate proceeds of their sales to the Boys and Girls Club.
The organization truly missed the interactions with the children that utilize their services and were able to open up about two weeks ago.
In other news for the organization, Davis says their new, expanded kitchen project should be completed on November 1.
