A man accused in connection to the fatal shooting of a 39-year old Hopkinsville woman on East 1st Street in August appeared for his arraignment in Christian County Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
20-year old Tyresse Hollowell was indicted by a grand jury for murder and first-degree assault. He’s accused of killing Tiffany Hinton Gray of Hopkinsville and shooting and injuring 17-year old Kanina Willingham in the early morning hours of August 14th.
Hollowell appeared before Chief Circuit Judge John Atkins via video from jail while his defense attorney, Tom Griffiths was in the courtroom and entered a not guilty plea on behalf of his client.
Judge Atkins set a bond hearing after Griffiths advised him he wanted to call witnesses at that time regarding a video of the incident.
Judge Atkins set the bond hearing for Monday morning, November 9th at 9:00 and a pretrial conference for Wednesday morning, November 25, at 8:30.
Hollowell remains lodged in the Christian County Jail under a $1 million dollar bond.
