A Hopkinsville man was injured in a shooting that is believed to have happened in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they first learned of the shooting when the man showed up at Jennie Stuart Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg around 5 pm.
Police say the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and the location of the shooting was not known.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charges as first-degree assault.
