A total of four COVID-19 cases was confirmed in Todd County on Thursday.
Director Jen Harris, director of the county’s health department, reported Thursday night the two newest cases involve an adult and minor, both with underlying health conditions. She said both cases are isolated at home with mild symptoms. She noted the adult and minor are not connected to any other cases.
These two COVID cases come after Harris reported Thursday morning that a healthy minor and an adult with underlying health conditions had tested positive for the virus. She said the minor was isolated at home with moderate symptoms and is not connected to any other cases. She added the adult is also isolated at home with mild symptoms and is linked to other cases.
To date, there have been 217 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Todd County. Of that number, 182 have recovered, 24 are healing at home, three are hospitalized, an dthere have been eight deaths related to the virus.
According to Harris, the county’s recovery rate is 84%.
