Officials with the Christian County Health Department confirmed 23 new COVID-19 cases Friday.
The department reported there is now a total of 1,548 cases, with 222 active. Of the active cases, 131 are among those 59 or younger and 91 either 60 or older.
As of Friday afternoon, Christian County had reported 1,300 recoveries and 26 COVID-linked deaths.
