Missionary Radio WNKJ-WNLJ is hosting their bi-annual Care-A-Thon, a way to raise money to support their operations.
Manager Ken Cummins tells the News Edge WNKJ and WNLJ Radio are non-commercial radio stations.
Cummins adds donations are being accepted by calling 877-885-9655 or here.
WNKJ signed on the air on August 3, 1981, but only became Missionary Radio about five years ago.
Cummins says they are a Christian formatted radio station offering programming for all ages.
Missionary Radio WNKJ-WNLJ can be heard in Hopkinsville, Murray, Dickson, Tennessee, and Providence. Cummins adds they have received permission to up the power of their Madisonville translator and will be in the process of improving that signal soon.
The radio Care-A-Thon will continue through Friday evening at 6:00.
