Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred near the intersection of Warfield Boulevard and Salisbury Way in Clarksville Saturday afternoon.
Clarksville police report a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling on Warfield Boulevard toward Dunbar Cave Road around 3:00 when one of the truck’s tires came off. Police say the tire then traveled into the oncoming lanes of traffic on Warfield Boulevard and hit a motorcycle.
According to police, the 32-year old male driver of the motorcycle died as a result of his injuries and his female passenger was transported to the hospital where her condition is unknown at this time.
