Two additional staff members and a Trigg Tots student have tested positive for COVID-19 within the Trigg County Public Schools District.
Superintendent Bill Thorpe said both staff members worked in the high school, with one last working in the building Wednesday, November 11, the other on Friday, November 13. He added a student at the Trigg Tots Daycare tested positive and was last in the classroom on Friday, November 13.
He added extra cleaning procedures were underway throughout the entire school. School administrators are also sending home letters and calling parents to let them know of the cases.
Thorpe reassures parents and students they follow all of the guidelines provided to them to keep everyone as safe as possible.
