Any Christian County District Court cases after Friday will now be conducted via Zoom.
District Court Judge Administrative Assistant Erin Thomas said the order had been signed by J. Foster Cotthoff and Judge John Lindsey Adams. She added the order includes instructions on joining Zoom via laptop, desktop, phone, or tablet, including the meeting IDs for each public docket. Meeting IDs for Confidential dockets (juvenile/guardianship/mental health) may be obtained from their office.
The office phone number is also on the order for those requesting to appear in person. However, she said you would need a very good reason to be granted in-person access to the court.
Additionally, Judge Jason Fleming signed an order for Family Court Matters. All parties participating in cases before Family court except for Dependency, Abuse and Neglect Court, Child Support Court, or Domestic Violence Court shall appear virtually using Zoom.
Christian Circuit Court will continue to operate under Kentucky Supreme Court Orders 2020-63 and 2020-64. There are no further orders from Christian Circuit Court at this time. Litigants are encouraged to contact their attorneys for further instructions.
