Officials with the Christian County Health Department are reporting the second-highest single-day of new cases.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney said 62 new cases were confirmed Thursday, along with the county’s 39 death. The death was a 94-year-old Caucasian female who had underlying health conditions.
There are currently 435 active cases, with 289 either 59 or younger and 146, 60 or older.
Christian County has reported 2,161 recoveries since mid-March.
