A home in Caldwell County was heavily damaged in a fire Friday morning.
Princeton Fire Department Assistant Chief Tim Cook tells the News Edge firefighters responded with two pumper trucks and an aerial truck to 113 Meadowbrook Drive after a neighbor called to report flames coming from the porch area on the side of the home. He adds the owner of the residence was not home at the time of the fire.
He says the fire caused heavy damage to the entire home.
Fredonia Fire Department was called to stand by at the Princeton fire station while firefighters were on the scene.
According to Cook, there were no injuries.
Emergency personnel responded to the structure fire just before 8:30 a.m.
