State officials have published information regarding the application process for the relief fund set up for Kentucky restaurants and bars.
Governor Andy Beshear signed an executive order on November 18 that dedicated federal Coronavirus Relief Funds in the amount of $40 million for a Food and Beverage Fund to provide assistance to bars and restaurants required to close to in-person services.
State officials say applications will be accepted beginning Monday, November 30, and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. They note an incomplete application may be subject to denial, and will not be deemed submitted until all materials required have been provided.
Applications will be reviewed by the Public Protection Cabinet starting on November 30. Officials say payments are anticipated to be dispensed to owners no sooner than December 8th and applications will close when funds are exhausted on or before December 18th.
If you have any questions about the application or encounter any issues, you can contact the Pennyrile Area Development District at 270-886-9484.
