Officials with the Christian County Health Department are confirming the county’s 46th death.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney said Tuesday afternoon the death was a 76-year-old Caucasian female with underlying health conditions.
Also, the department confirmed 36 new COVID-19 cases raising the total number of cases to 3,041. There are 530 active cases with 299 between the ages of 22 and 59.
Sweeney said the county had reported 2,465 recoveries.
