Trigg County magistrates approved a resolution Monday afternoon to lower the speed limit on Kings Chapel Road.
County Attorney Randy Braboy presented the ordinance that would lower the speed limit by 10 MPH.
Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander added the law would go into effect soon.
The resolution was passed with Mike Lane casting the lone nay vote.
In other news, magistrates approved the 2021-22 budget for County Clerk Carmen Finley.
Finley’s budget for next year is nearly $5.4 million.
