The Kentucky Senate Majority Caucus has announced its committee assignments for the 2021 General Assembly, including that of a Christian County legislator.
Senator Whitney Westerfield, of Crofton, will continue to serve as the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Judiciary.
Westerfield said he is thankful to serve and looks forward to serving on committees that are critically important to his constituents. He added the 2021 30-day regular session would be especially busy given today’s unprecedented circumstances.
He assures residents they will continue to work diligently to improve public safety, promote a robust economic environment to support small businesses, create more jobs, and strengthen Kentucky families.
The Senate Committee on Committees will officially confirm the new chairmanships upon starting the 2021 Legislative Session.
