An investigation into counterfeit credit cards in several states led to one person’s arrest Wednesday and warrants for the arrest of two other men in Trigg County.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says 23-year-old Deziree Baker was arrested. The Sheriff’s department is still looking for John and Jeff Haddock. All three are accused of making and using fraudulent credit cards in several states.
Acree says days after the transaction the business would find out the charges were being disputed. All three are accused of using the cards to buy thousands of dollars worth of items.
Baker was arrested and charged with false making or embossing of credit cards, receiving stolen property, and engaging in organized crime. John and Jeff Haddock are wanted in connection to the investigation but have not been located.
Acree says the investigation was a month-long and all three suspects are from Trigg County.
