The number of active COVID-19 cases in Christian County continue to trend upward as the total topped 800 for the first time Monday.
The health department reported 10 new cases Sunday and 57 more Monday. 829 were active cases, which has increased by 166 in the past week and by 271 since the first of the month.
For the fifth straight day, the health department did not give an age breakdown of the active cases.
