The Christian County Health Department reported four deaths in the county linked to the COVID-19 virus Tuesday.
The four deaths were a 67-year-old Black male a 66-year-old and 79-year-old male, and an 81-year-old male. Health Department Director Kayla Bebout said all four people had underlying health conditions.
The four deaths are the most in a 24-hour period for the county since November 24. To date, 56 people linked to the virus have died in Christian County.
In the daily report, the health department added 46 new cases to the COVID-19 total which stands at 871 active cases and 3,912 overall. There was not an age breakdown of the active cases released.
