Deputies have now released the name of a woman injured in a wreck on US 68 at the intersection of Gracey Sinking Fork Road in Christian County last Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by Jamie Vanderbilt was eastbound when for an unknown reason, it ran off the road and into a ditch. The vehicle overturned several times before coming to a rest on its top, trapping Vanderbilt inside.
Christian County Rescue was able to free her from the vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 7 pm.
